This week's animal spotlight is our big puppy dog Harold! Harold joined our family in May of 2021 from the state of Oregon and had to learn how to be a cow. He was raised with dogs since he was born and was spoiled with birthday parties and unconditional love from his human. Unfortunately there was no room for Harold in Oregon and he found his way to Clementine Ranch. He still thinks he's a puppy dog, but has learned to hold his own among the cowabunga's. He loves when he gets brushed out by Lindsey and is never late for dinner. About Harold's Breed: The Highland (Scottish Gaelic: Bò Ghàidhealach; Scots: Hielan coo) is a Scottish breed of rustic cattle. It originated in the Scottish Highlands and the Outer Hebrides islands of Scotland and has long horns and a long shaggy coat. It is a hardy breed, able to withstand the intemperate conditions in the region. BECOME A CLEMENTINE RANCH SPONSOR
With a monthly feed bill of $6,000 and medical and maintenance averaging an additional $3,500 it costs nearly $10,000 per month to feed and care for the rescued animals on Clementine Ranch. Becoming a Clementine Ranch Sponsor is a great way to help with this cost and care for the animals. A monthly newsletter is sent out to the Clementine Ranch Sponsors so you can see the progress of the ranch and know that every dollar donated goes into the love and care of the animals. Choose the plan below that you can afford, and THANK YOU for being such a big part of Clementine Ranch.
